Together Forever

I was at my best friend’s house, having a sleepover, when the brightest thing woke me up.

Turn the light off I thought. I was feeling very annoyed, it was so bright. I was still half asleep and not fully awake yet.

But it wasn’t a bright light, it was the sun!  The sun was as bright as 100 suns, crazy!!! Very surprisingly, the sun didn't wake Lauren (or, as I thought, the best sleeper in the world!) She was still sleeping like a rock.

          I turned my head and looked at the clock, Oh boy! 7am! No wonder she is still sleeping! AND it's Saturday!!

So I turned back around, slammed my head on the pillow and I thought about today, about what we’re going to do.

The football game, possibly getting ice cream, just hanging at Lauren’s!

Lauren’s house was massive. Her room is a  yellow like butter, and the mattress we were sleeping on was a light shade of olive green. My favorite stuffed toy in her room was Hannah the Banana, who was a banana color with huge lips and eyes. Lauren’s hair herself was dirty blonde, and now was knotty. Mine was also knotty. My hair is as dark and brown as chocolate.

Go to sleep, Emma. I thought starting to fall asleep. And I fell asleep.

My mind then drifted to when I just couldn't fall asleep one night at her house. A night a while ago, I ended up staying up all night.

Then I woke up with the sun brighter, again.

About 1 hour and 30 minutes later, I was awake. Now I definitely was awake, I just couldn't go back to sleep now. It was 8:30 and Lauren had to get up!

“Lauren, Lauren, wake up!” I whispered, tapping her to wake up.

She wouldn’t budge, but she did fly her hand back and almost smacked me in the face.

         “MMM,” she whined.

           I sighed, This is gonna be a long morning!

          “WAKE UP!” I shouted, shoving her hard.

          The light was dim, and the sun was bright.

          I guess I should be grateful I'm here instead of just yelling at her to wake up when we have plenty of time. But I mean….

          So I yelled again.

          “WAKE UP” I shouted again, frustrated.

          “Ok, FINE” She replied.

          “Get up, hurry” I demanded.

          “I’m getting up” She replied.

          I yawned, Lauren yawned. We were finally starting to wake up, and start our day.

When we were  finally awake, we took down the humongous mattress.

“So, what do want to do, or play?” Lauren asked me.

“Wanna play Legos?” She asked, suggesting legos.

“Sure, why not?!” I replied, gently elbowing her.

So we took out the legos, and started to play.

“You can be this girl, Em” Lauren exclaimed, holding up a chestnut haired lego girl.

“But, I wanna be that girl.” I remarked, pointing to the most elegant girl, an elf girl, with cinnamon hair and a beautiful dress.

“I’m being this girl.” She replied, correcting me.

“Ok fine!” I agreed, upset.

“Then my best friend can be the elf one and yours can be the regular boy.” She told me.

“Ok, at least I get the one with the good hair” I stated. The boy I was using had cocoa curly hair, and the one Lauren had was a almond hair color with elf ears.

So we took out the big mall, apartment building, grocery store, and of course, our cars. And we started to play, then the craziest thing happened!

My stomach grumbled, I'm so hungry! I thought with starvation, and then  we heard someone thumping toward us.

THUMP BANG THUMP BANG THUMP BANG!!!!!!!

And I wondered who it was? Most likely to be Lauren's momma. And it turned out it was her mom! Her mom has coffee colored hair, and tan skin, unlike Lauren who has skin as pale as coffee cream!

“Hey girls, when and what would you girls like for breakfast?” Mrs.Skidmore asked.

“Em, do you want egg and cheeses?” Lauren asked, turning  her head to me to see if I would agree.

“ Yea sure!”I said happily agreeing.

I'm so glad I'm here!  I can't even remember the last time I had this much fun! Im even with one of my favorite people!

“And then we can clean up now and come down.” Lauren suggested.

“That sounds great!” Her mom answered. “So I'll start making breakfast, then?”

“Yes, if I said we will come down, what do you think?” Lauren said talking back!

“Ok, Ok just making sure!” Mrs. Skidmore replied with a grin!

So we started to clean up the legos, and we worked as a team.

“We’re a good team!” I declared.

“We are a good team!” Lauren echoed.

Then when we finished cleaning up the legos we went downstairs for breakfast.

“Girls you're just in time!”  Mrs. Skidmore exclaimed.

 Our breakfast was out on the table waiting for us, so  we walked over to the big bronze table. My egg and cheese had sausage in it, Lauren’s  had no sausage. They were in biscuits, tan colored biscuits. We were still in our cozy pajamas and our hair was still knotted .

“Omnomnomnom” Lauren chomped her food.

“That's disgusting,”  I  explained to Lauren.

           Soon we were finished eating breakfast, and  walked up the stairs and went into Lauren's room. We got out our clothes and got changed. I had a sapphire top and black ink leggings with my sneakers.  Lauren had a Aspetuck Wildcats t-shirt and also black ink Justice leggings, along with her sneakers. We brushed our knotty hair and brushed our teeth too.  When we finished we took out all the American Girl dolls and started playing one of our favorite games. We took out the Jeep, motorcycle, the boy doll, and two girl dolls. Along with the refrigerator for a locker, a regular locker, and a table with food.  And we started to play!

“You can be Leah, I’ll be Logan, and we can both take turns being the jealous girl.” Lauren said.

 Lauren held up Leah, with chestnut skin,  almond hair, and hazel eyes. She also held up Logan with chocolate hair, toffee skin and blue eyes. The jealous girl had  platinum blonde hair, tan skin, and kelly green eyes. The locker I was using was actually the refrigerator. It was a crimson red and the locker Lauren was using was a lilac color. The table was hot pink and the jeep was tyrian purple, and an red-orange color. Same with the motorcycle.

In the game, we had Leah and Logan be best friends, and they pass notes. The jealous girl is jealous of Leah because she wants to be best friends with Logan, so she does mean things to Leah, and tries to get Logan to like her.

Hi Leah, wanna hang out? The note Lauren passed asked. Or what Logan was asking.

Sure, where do you wanna go?  I asked back. Or Leah replying.

The movies? Logan’s note said.

Sure. Leah’s note replied ending the conversation.

With terrible timing, the jealous girl approached  Logan, I guess she suspiciously seemed to hear our conversation because she asked…..

“Hey Logan, wanna hang out today?”

Thankfully, but not surprisingly Logan replied a serious, and very firm NO! The jealous girl then then stated,

“Excuse me, you can’t do that.”

“O yes I can!” Logan snapped back.

The jealous girl gasped, and walked away.

About 20 mins later, someone was coming upstairs. I figured it was Lauren’s mom because I herd clanging and clinking of her heels.

“Ladies, we will be leaving in 5 mins to go to the football game!” She remarked. “Why don’t you girls clean up and come down?”

“Ok, Mom!” Lauren replied.

After her mom walked away, Lauren asked, “Do you want to bring my Ipad?”

“Sure,” I replied.

“Lets clean up, c’mon!” Lauren demanded.

“K,” I responded.

About 2 mins later, we were finally done and were running like The Flash down the stairs. And Lauren had her Ipad gripped in her hand as we were walking out the door into the car.

“Wanna take turns playing games?” Lauren asked me.

“Yea, sure, why not?”I replied.

We were busy playing games, and it felt like we were in the car for 5 mins. It was really 10 though, but I guess time flew by! When we got there, and we got out of the car, we were trying to find a spot to sit, and we went the wrong way.  The sky was a baby blue, and the clouds were marshmallows in the sky.

Soon, we found people that were heading toward seats so we followed them and found seats.

We were sitting on silver bleaches, but some of Lauren’s friends were there so we hung out with them.

Ila was one of them. She brought along her phone, too, which we did some snapchat on. Ila has blonde hair with faded red hair like cherries or strawberries at the tips. She was wearing a rose top with delft blue pants, and magenta sneakers.  We also saw another girl with Ila. When we saw them we dashed over to them.

“Hey Ila!” Lauren shouted with excitement.  ¨This is my friend, Emma¨

¨Hi Emma!” She exclaimed with a humorous laugh.

¨This is Jayden¨ Ila stated pointing to a girl, Jayden had  oak colored hair, and skin the color of sand. She was wearing a midnight black tank top with gold stripes, and raven black leggings. She was also wearing bright sneakers.

Ila’s  so funny, and nice already, I like her!  I thought with gratefulness.

We went over to the top of a hill and played. We played this game where Ila and Lauren did a cheer.

¨A-w-e-s-o-m-e  awesome awesome to-to-tally!¨

They did that while me and Jayden were bears. Then they walked over and we started to chase them, and eat them. It was fun, and we just kept doing that for about and hour.

An hour or so later, we started doing snapchat on Ila´s phone and Lauren´s ipad. We did that until we got bored, and we instead walked around the barrier of the area we were on.

          Soon enough we noticed it got dark, and the scoreboard said, 13-0, the other team sadly.

          ¨Guys do you wanna color?¨”Lauren asked.

          ¨ME!¨ I called, waving my hand in the air.

          ¨I do too!¨ Ila shouted.

          ¨Same.¨ Jayden echoed.

          ¨Emma, lets go get the coloring stuff¨ Lauren told me.

          ¨K¨ I replied, running over to Lauren who was already heading over there.

          We got the coloring stuff, and ran over to Jayden, and Ila. We went behind the fence and put our coloring stuff on the stone platform that kept us from falling. And we started to color, and then 2 cheerleaders, who I guess thought they were so perfect, walked below us. I dared Lauren to say the Wildcats are better than them, and she actually did.

          ¨THE WILDCATS ARE BETTER THAN YOU!¨ Lauren shouted.

          Ila, Jayden, and me started giggling.

         

          ¨No, they´re not, look at the scoreboard!¨ They snapped back.

          ¨Well I didn’t mean that, it was a dare!¨ Lauren replied.

          ¨Oh really, then why´d you say it!¨ They dared.

          ¨Maybe I did mean It!” Lauren stated.

          After that, they walked away, and we finished coloring. When we were done, I guess the other team got a touchdown, and won the field goal, because the score was 20-0. Sadly, that was the end of the game.

          ¨Bye!¨ Me and Lauren cried to Jayden, and Ila.

          ¨See ya!¨ They shouted!

          So me and Lauren walked over with all our stuff, and we bumped into Lila Reyes On the way out.

          ¨Hi Emma!¨ Lila exclaimed.

          ¨Hi Lila!” I shouted.

          I then introduced Lila to Lauren and they waved, then we were out. On the way home me and Lauren did the same as we did when we were going to the game, playing games on her Ipad.

           About 20 mins later we were home and me and Lauren raced each other to her room, and it was a tie. We just hung out,  until my dad´s car was driving up the driveway.

          ¨Aww, my dad´s here.¨ I whined.

          ¨LAUREN! EMMA’S DAD IS HERE!” Mrs. Skidmore shouted all the way from downstairs.

          ¨I know!¨ Lauren replied.

           Lauren then walked me downstairs to my dad´s car which is an off white color. My brothers, Noah, and Nico were in the back along with my sister, Leila.

          ¨Bye Lauren!¨ I said waving, opening the door.

          ¨Bye!¨ Lauren cried out.

         

          I was in the car now and we were heading home to my dad´s house.

         

          ¨Thanks for letting me go!¨ I exclaimed.

          ¨No problem, Em.¨ My dad replied.

          My dad then asked what we did, and I replied all what we did, and how much fun we had.

          I can’t wait to go again! I thought. I’m so, so, so, happy I went , I had the best time and can’t wait for another day with my best friend in the whole world!

          Lauren´s my best friend, and she is so caring and thoughtful, I´m so happy she´s my friend. I thought happily.

          And that’s when I felt tired, so laid my head on the seat, my eyes drooped and I had a light, but heavy smile on my face. And that’s when I almost fell asleep.
