I Am a Taco

I am a taco

I wonder when I am going to be eaten

I hear the crunch of my shell

I see people reaching for me

I want to get loaded with meat

I am a delicious crunchy meal

I pretend I will never be eaten

I feel people’s hands all over me

I touch the meat that i hold

I understand that i am very yummy

I say “Don’t eat me!”

I dream of never being eaten

I am a service dog in training

I wonder why people can’t pet me

I hear “ Sit! Stay” as my trainer trains me

I see trainers training the other service dogs

I want to help out

I am anxious

I pretend someone is reaching out to hold my leash for the first time

I touch my trainer with my tongue to show I love them
