Complete!

It was a bright and beautiful spring day! I was in my room trying to jerk myself up, but before I could, I saw something shining in my eyes, it was the gold sun shining through the window of my room. I quickly ran to the window to see the view, and when I got there I stood there as blank as a paper. It was the gold sun reflecting my eyes, just when I saw the turquoise blue sky awaiting for the butterflies, birds, and bees to open their wings and soar through the sky, when suddenly something caught my eyes. It was the most colorful, bundle of flowers I have ever seen! The roses were as red as raspberry pie, the dandelions were as white as marshmallows, the violets were as purple as magenta, the sunflowers were as yellow as butter, and so many more colors!
When I was heading towards the stairs to see the magnificent nature, I saw beside my dresser stood a frame. The picture in that frame was the most precious object I own. It was a picture of my sisters and I with my cousin, Amber. I remember this picture was taken on the Disney Cruise when my twin, Fariza, Amber, and I were 3 years old and my older sister Fazila was 4 years old. We were all dressed up the same from the Things… from the Cat in the Hat, Fazila was Thing 1, Fariza was Thing 2, I was Thing 3, and Amber was Thing 4. Our whole family was together that trip, but then Amber had to move to Virginia because her dad got a job. It has been 2 years, ever since I always look at that picture to remember all the moments we have spent together!                                     After I got dressed into to my royal purple dress, I was passing by the family room, just when I saw my twin sister, Fariza, with her long, curly hair get in her eyes while she was making a bracelet. A bracelet? I thought to myself, I never knew that Fariza making bracelets actually existed!
I gasped, ¨ What are you doing?¨
She responded, ¨ Can't you see I am making a bracelet¨
¨You never make bracelets, why today?¨
She hinted, ¨Surprise!¨
I was about to say something, but I knew she would ignore me, so I walked away. I thought to myself why did she say the word surprise? While she was making a bracelet? What was the case?
While I was walking downstairs, I had remembered, where did everyone go? So I yelled out, “MOM!¨ But before she could respond, I sensed something so joyful, I stopped. I wondered, where was this magnificent smell coming from, is it just me? When I reached the kitchen, all the answers from my questions were answered. There were eggs, waffles, pancakes, hash browns, so much more that you wouldn’t imagine! I questioned my mom, who was cooking so much food that her dress was covered in flour, as well as her nose, ¨ What is all this food for!¨ She surprisingly said the same phrase Fariza had said, ¨Surprise!¨
The same word surprise kept frustrating me! All these odd things were happening while the same word kept coming up! Before I could say anymore the doorbell rang, I thought to myself who could it be? Could it be the mystery of the phrase surprise? I had to find out!
While I was skipping towards the doorbell, I muttered, ¨ I will get it!¨ I was trying to say it as if I don't care, so that no one gets suspicious. When the door creaked opened…
My jaw dropped open!
I couldn’t believe my eyes! It was her! Her short, black hair waved in the sunlight, with her midnight blue shirt had caught my eyes. I was speechless, it was actually her!
Before I could even say a word, I yelled out, “Mom, Fazila, Fariza, everyone come here!”    Fazila asked, “What’s the matter? Who is at the door?”
“Just come here, you will find out yourself.”
A  few moments later, everyone had arrived, the second they had arrived their mouths dropped open too. I couldn’t wait any longer! Suddenly my sisters and I jumped towards her and gave her the most biggest hug ever! It was true, it was my cousin, Amber.
I felt as though I had just won the most precious prize in the world! Just when I was about to talk, Amber’s little sister came running in, Amelia. This was the first time I ever saw her, she was 1 years old, and she was the cutest baby I have ever seen! I praised, “ Aww she is adorable!” Suddenly, before I could say anymore, I had remembered, why had they come? Was something wrong? I had so many questions floating in my mind, when I hadn’t even opened my mouth an inch, my cousin, Amber interrupted me, “I know you have so many questions in your mind, before you question anything, I have something to tell you.”
“What do you mean?” I asked curiously
“We are moving to Easton!”
“Seriously?”
But before anyone said anymore, my uncle came walking in and corrected, “No, silly! Were moving to Connecticut!”
“Aww, WAIT, are you serious!”
Just when I finished my uncle nodded. I couldn’t believe it! So many surprises in one...
Then I realized why the word surprise kept coming up! This all makes sense! Fariza was making bracelets for Amber, Mom was making a big feast for Amber and her family, and that’s why the word surprise kept coming up! Then something else popped in my mind, if my family kept saying surprise they knew that Amber was coming! I gave a angry look to my family, but before I could get mad, they interrupted me again! “ I know you are mad that we didn’t tell you that Amber is coming, but honestly we didn’t know they were moving to Connecticut.” My mom said, looking guilty. It seemed as though my whole family were sidekicks and seemed to tell what’s going on my mind!
After everyone had settled down and gobbled up mom’s delicious, yummy breakfast, we all sat in the living room and took a deep breathe. “Mum, that was great food! I am stuffed!” my uncle smiled.
Moments later, after everyone caught up with 2 years of talking, my mom asked my aunt, “Do you need any help with moving? Where are you moving?”
But before my aunt could respond, Amber popped in and interrupted their conversation, “Aunt Mumtaz, we are moving to Hartford and we would love you to come, but we have to move today because tomorrow it’s dad’s first day of work!”
“Of course we will help you! Let’s go right now so by the time we get there the sun will still be shining!”
Mom, Dad, Fazila, Fariza, Firdaus, Amber, Aunt Yasmin, Uncle Khalid, Amelia, and I all met outside of the house and checked if everything is packed. When we were about to leave for Hartford, I quickly ran up to my aunt and uncle and requested them, “Can Amber and Amelia come in our car?” Followed by me, Amber started, “Please dad, PLEASE, we haven’t talked in such a long time!” While my parents and Amber’s parents were discussing, Fariza, Fazila, Amber, and I were crossing our fingers for some miracle to happen, but before we lost hope, our parents turned around and nodded all at the same time. All of us were filled with joy! Without even knowing, all of us ran to the car and the second we got in, we started talking!
When the car had started, I realized that she was really here! Were helping her move to Connecticut! Am I dreaming? So I pinched myself and…
“Owww” Then right beside me I saw my cousin Amber, she was really there! I wasn’t dreaming! It’s reality! Then I stopped surprising myself and got to the point. I replied, “Amber I am really happy your here! I thought I was dreaming for a second! It’s been such a long time since we have unite, and I can’t wait that we will be able to see each other every weekend! But truly I am so happy you’re in Connecticut with us, and promise me, you will never leave us.” In that second Amber replied, “Of course I will never leave you! We will always be together, I promise.”
After all that emotional talk, I remembered, “Amber I totally forgot how was Virginia!” She responded, “It was the best we…” In that instant, we all started talking away!
Later that drive, all of us kept talking and talking, and it felt like 2 minutes before we got to   Amber’s new home! There were cottages of the color butter, lined up next to each other like bricks, it was a beautiful neighborhood! My uncle yelled out, “Everyone take one box!” I dashed as if I were lightning toward the moving van, just when I took a box and glanced inside of it, I recalled something. It was the same box I gave to Amber filled with toys we played with together when we were little when she was about to leave for Virginia, she still had it. Just before I could think of anymore, my mom called out, “ Fariha, come here, I need your help” I replied, ”Coming!” While I was heading toward the condo, I felt as though my family was finally complete!
