colonies. You might think that in the Boston Massacre people died because

The Boston Massacre first started when a group of British Soldiers were

in the field, while Six more are severely wounded. One of those killed in the

people watched the death of these five men.

fire so, he was let go.
Chapter 2: The Stamp act
When did it happened?
In October, 1765,the British Parliament issued something horrible which was called,
The Stamp Act.(If I were to know about this I would be full of protest and anger!
The Stamp Act.(If I were to know about this I would be full of protest and anger!
How did it start?
The Stamp Act started when the king had noticed he needed more money so
he made a Stamp for taxes. The Stamp act carries this name because of a
official Stamp this was required on items that affected everyone this stamp
has been the Stamp of all taxes.(In my opinion the stamp act means that
King George III would stamp this on taxes that meant extra payment!).

How did people react?
Once The Stamp Act had spread to Britain everyone filled with protests.
In Connecticut, a lawyer named Jared Ingersoll accepted the position of
the Stamp Act (if I were the people of that country I would be convinced
this person would be a traitor!).The day after Jared accepted the Stamp
Act, people filled with protest and started calling him a “traitor” and
hanged him with anger and protest. (They also hanged a dummy to look
like Ingersoll!).
