Green is an elegant color

If green were a flavor, it would be sweet

like an apple

Or tart like a lime

If you could hear green, it would sound like

Wind moving through the fresh grass meadow

Or a rustling leaf in the spring wind

Green is a gleaming emerald concealed in a mine

Just waiting to be found

Green is a chilly color like an autumn breeze

If green was a scent, it would smell crisp
like a winter snowstorm

Green is a sparkling olive grove in the grass field

And green is beautiful
