Nerve-wracking Moment                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                            “Yes!” I whispered to myself as I leaped off the bus. “I am home!”
As I walked up the lawn I noticed that no one was standing  home to get me off the bus like they usually were on a Friday. No one was on the porch to get me off the bus.
“Mom, Dad, are you home?”
“BOO!” they shouted from behind the rails.
“Ahh!” I remarked.
          “We have a plan.”
“Ooh this had better to be good,”I said.
“Well yeah, everything I say is good,” my mom responded.
“Um ok I will believe that in a million years.”
“Stop arguing  and maybe I will tell you where we are going.”
“Fine I replied.”
We are going to hibachi mom said,”.
Yeah!
20 minutes later we were there ready to order
When we started to order, the waitress came up to me and asked me something in a totally different language. I had no idea what she was saying.  I had a confused look on my face.
Then, my mom interrupted, “Can you repeat that in English, please?”
“What would you like, bud?” asked the waitress with a thick accent.
“Chicken, rice and a soda of  your choice” I said.
After that delicious meal I was feeling like a stuffed chicken because I ate chicken.
As me and my family were walking out of the restaurant my dad had gotten a text from Mr.Covino.
“What did he text you?”
“Jesse, Mickey, Vince, Steph and Mike want to come over to swim and party.”
“Um……………….. Sure if you can keep the party under control.”
“Easy.”
When they got here 20 mins later, Mike was wearing a hat, pants, and shoes. He was not wearing any shirt. I was creeped out so much.
As we were swimming Mr. Covino burped so loud in my brother’s face, I could see my brother in my head flying across the pool.
I begged my dad for a bonfire, he finally said yes. So we all screamed saying “yes!!!”
As we were getting the fire started, the adults were coming to make sure we were not burning any of the pool liner. Thank you god we where not, but they still would not go back into the house.  I was not happy.
After I got over that, I chose to play a game called “kill the carrier.” We made the teams so unfair. The teams were Me, Jesse, and Mickey v. all. The other team was Vince and my brother (Brandon). Just as we were starting to say “go!” Mr. Covino called me over. He asked if I would like to have a sleepover? That is when it hit me. I felt like I was the new Taylor Swift or something! Two minutes later, I finally said “yes,” in a teeny tiny voice.
¨Tonight? Is that ok with you buddy?¨
“Yes, sure,” I murmured quietly.
One minute later, as I was saying good-bye, the most embarrassing thing ever happened to me. My mom gave me the most biggest smooch on the lips ever! It should have been in the Guinness Book of Records!  The worst part was all of my friends were right there watching the whole thing!
“ Okay, mom, bye,”I called as I went to Jesseś car.
In only a couple of minutes, we had arrived at his house.
Jesse warned, ¨Watch out, we have dog.¨
¨Hi boy,¨ I said as I pet the dog gently.
By the time I had greeted their dog, we were already on our way to the living room to watch football.  The living room was dark like a cave and dome-shaped.  The flat screen television was mammoth in size. Jesse and I sat on the blue-gray leather couch. His brother Mickey sat on a basketball-shaped spinning chair.
We watched football for about twenty minutes and then Jesse said, ¨Iḿ getting tired. Letś go to bed.¨
¨Okay, ¨ I replied.
As we walked upstairs to his room, I thought to myself, Oh no, what happens next?  I’ve never done this before.
About twenty minutes later, Mickey came into the room with a zombie clown mask on.  He poked me.  I turned around as he made creepy zombie noises.
¨Geez, Mickey!¨ I yelled. You scared me so bad! Do not do that again please!
Just a few minutes later, me and Jesse went down stairs to eat so eggs, bacon and orange juices. After that we watched  tv and waited until my mom and dad got there. I entered Jesseś room. The room had two rectangular twin beds. I took one and Jesse took the other.
I climbed under the covers.  I was shaking like an earthquake. I faced the opposite direction of Jesse so I wouldn't have to look at him while I tried to fall asleep.
I guess I should just go to sleep, I thought.  Within a minute, I was sleeping like a rock. My nerves must have tired me out.
The next morning, I woke up around 7:30 a.m.  Jesse was still fast asleep.  My nerves were still there!
Later, as I was sitting on the couch, I heard Jesse’s dad say, ”get the beer and wine.” Ok, I said, as I thought he was talking to me. As they were getting ready to come in the door I shouted “get ready to pour wine for them.” “Okie dokie,” Mr. Covino said. Two minutes later, my parents were settled drinking wine.

P.S we were there until midnight and it turns out that we had another sleepover. We had lots of fun with them that night.
