What Is Black?
Black makes feel like sugar in my stomach
It scares my brother at night
It frightens my brother
Black feels smooth
Black smells like licorice jelly beans
Black is the color of a bat’s skin
If black made a sound it would be ka-boom!
ka-boom is the sound of a volcano erupting
Black is the color of a cave underground where no one’s
ever been to
or ever seen before
An old Chinese tale tells of a fire breathing dragon who lives there
and has dug himself out of The Ground
Black is the color of black coffee waiting to be drank on the kitchen table
The emotion of black is happy
