In May

In May, the butterflies flutter and fly around a lot. They also fly around trees and they come out of their cocoons.

In May, the grass and trees are as green as lettuce.

In May, the hot sun brightens up flowers that are blooming.

In May, the barbecue chicken smells delicious on the grill next to the
cheeseburgers.

In May, the Memorial Day parade is loud with marching bands and lots of music. My birthday and Mother’s Day are both in May, too.

In May, we help Mother Nature by raking the leaves, watering the plants and planting the seeds.
